430 Stainless Steel Bar – Product Description
430 stainless steel bar is a ferritic, non-hardenable stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and formability. Composed mainly of chromium (16–18%), it offers good resistance to oxidation and stress corrosion cracking in mildly corrosive environments.
Due to its magnetic properties, smooth finish, and affordability, 430 stainless steel bars are widely used in kitchen equipment, decorative trims, appliances, automotive parts, and architectural components.
Unlike austenitic grades like 304 and 316, 430 offers better resistance to nitric acid and organic acids, making it a preferred choice in low-stress indoor applications where cost-effectiveness and aesthetics are crucial.
