Product Overview

Galvanized Welded Steel Pipe begins with high – quality steel plates or strips. These materials are precisely shaped and joined together through advanced welding techniques, such as electric resistance welding (ERW) or submerged arc welding (SAW). The welding process ensures a seamless and sturdy pipe structure, capable of withstanding significant pressure and mechanical stress.

After welding, the pipes undergo the galvanization process. There are mainly two methods: hot – dip galvanizing and electro – galvanizing. In hot – dip galvanizing, the pipes are immersed in a bath of molten zinc at high temperatures, creating a thick and durable zinc – iron alloy layer on the surface. This provides excellent corrosion resistance, even in harsh environments. Electro – galvanizing, on the other hand, deposits a zinc layer on the pipe surface through an electrolytic process, resulting in a relatively thinner but smoother coating, which is suitable for applications where a more aesthetic appearance is required. The coating provides a protective layer that prevents rust and extends the lifespan of the pipes, especially in environments that experience moisture, humidity, or industrial chemicals. These pipes are widely used for water transportation, structural applications, and as a material for scaffolding, fences, and plumbing systems. The welded joint provides strength and durability, and the galvanized coating ensures resistance to corrosion, extending the life of the pipe and reducing maintenance costs.

Product Characteristics

Excellent Corrosion Resistance:The galvanized layer acts as a protective barrier, effectively preventing the intrusion of moisture, oxygen, and other corrosive substances, ensuring the pipe’s integrity over long periods.

High Strength and Durability:Thanks to the welding process and high – quality steel materials, the pipe can bear heavy loads and high pressures, maintaining stable performance in various working conditions.

Versatile Sizes:Available in a wide range of diameters, wall thicknesses, and lengths, it can meet diverse project requirements, whether for small – scale residential construction or large – scale industrial projects.

Easy Installation:The standardized dimensions and connection methods, such as threading, grooving, or welding, make the installation process convenient and efficient, reducing construction time and costs.

Cost – effective:Compared with some high – end corrosion – resistant pipes, Galvanized Welded Steel Pipe offers a good balance between performance and cost, providing reliable quality at a more affordable price.

Customizable Lengths: Available in custom lengths to meet the specific requirements of a project, making them versatile for various installations.

Application Areas

  1. Water Supply Systems: Galvanized welded steel pipes are commonly used for potable water transportation, ensuring safe and reliable water delivery in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

  2. Plumbing Systems: Ideal for indoor and outdoor plumbing systems, offering a reliable, long-lasting solution for water distribution and waste management.

  3. Construction & Structural Supports: Used in scaffolding, handrails, and other structural applications due to their strength and durability.

  4. Fencing: Widely used for making durable fences for both commercial and residential purposes, providing security and aesthetic appeal.

  5. Agricultural Applications: These pipes are used in irrigation systems, greenhouses, and agricultural frameworks where rust resistance is crucial.

  6. Outdoor Installations: Suitable for outdoor applications that require resistance to rust, such as transportation of gas, oil, or other fluids in industrial settings.

  7. HVAC Systems: Used for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning ductwork, providing long-lasting, corrosion-resistant piping for air distribution.
