Base aluminum: ~97.5% purity.
Condition: Common conditions include T4 (solution annealed + natural aging), T6 (solution annealed + artificial aging), and T651 (stress relieved by stretching to achieve flatness).
Appearance: Smooth silver-grey surface with optional surface treatment (anodized, polished, painted).

Our 6061 Aluminum Sheet is a versatile and heat-treatable wrought alüminyum alaşımı. Its main alloying elements are magnesium and silicon and it belongs to the 6xxx series. It is known for its good mechanical properties, excellent weldability and corrosion resistance. It is commonly supplied in the form of sheets, plates, bars and extruded profiles. It is widely used in structural applications due to its high strength and light weight.
Key Avantajlar of 6061 Aluminum Sheet
High strength: After heat treatment, 6061 aluminum alloy has a strength comparable to some steels (T6 state: yield strength about 290 MPa), but is lighter than steel.
Good corrosion resistance: The natural aluminum oxide layer prevents rust, making it ideal for marine, outdoor and chemical environments.
Excellent weldability: It can be welded using all common welding methods, including TIG and MIG welding.
Good machinability: It is easy to form in the annealed state and has good machinability in the T4 and T6 states, which can be used for complex manufacturing processes (e.g. milling, drilling).
